Incase you missed it over the weekend, here are a few photos of our stall at the Finders Keepers Market which was held last Friday and Saturday. It was a fantastic market and we are so happy to have been involved both with our stall and as a sponsor. As you can see, there was quite a turnout on both days and we are so glad to have seen so many familiar faces there supporting such a great event. The Finders Keepers is an independent design and art market that happens twice a year in Sydney with the next one being held sometime around May 2010. You can check out their website here for more info on current and future FK markets.

Meet Me at Mikes for Crafty Fun!

On a recent trip to one of our favourite stationary stores Pulp in Manly, we discovered this super cute book by the people behind Meet me at Mikes in Melbourne! Its jam-packed with really cute craft, sewing and making projects submitted by local designers! Its a must-have for any crafty person. We sure are excited about making Kara Smiths‘ vintage fabric clutch and Anna Lauras’ felt brooches just to name a few!

Thank You!!!

A very big thank you has to go out to many people for keeping made590 running. But I will keep it short and sweet to begin with (I will update often). Firstly, a massive thank you to White Pixels- aka: Lyndsay white. White pixels is in charge of many things at made590 but most importantly for starting the made590 website and keeping it looking beautiful…..Nothing is ever too much trouble and I can always rely on Lyndsay and Ben to come up with something tricky and creative……

Of course I also have to thank my staff, which as you all know work extremely hard for no money, he he!

We really hope that you love all the new things that we are working on at made590, please stay tuned for lots more updates.

Take care

Christina
